A Word,
In all that you do, pray for endurance. Doesn’t matter the season we may find ourselves walking in; if we do not have endurance, we could grow weary quickly. If we do not pray for wisdom, we risk our weariness to lead our actions out of emotion. If we do not pray for discernment, we risk the gift and discipline of our good judgment being corrupted. If we do not pray for direction along side our prayers for guidance, that is like trusting one but not the other. Be specific when you pray, a vast prayer can be dangerous, especially if the desires of your heart continually cause you to lack in self control. If we do not pray for the desires of our heart to change or if we are not willing for those to be molded, we are at risk to fall into every temptation we ever had. Possibly ending up with more than we had before… You see, this walk with Jesus is no simple walk.
The cross is heavy when you carry it, and the cost is costly.
But what an honor it is to be free.
And Jesus came and said to them,
“GO THEREFORE AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.”
