The start of a gallery.

This self portrait was my first assignment. Started in September 2025-December 2025. When I started this self portrait, I was struggling to see what value I carried. I was honestly questioning my self, struggling in confidence with my talent. I was struggling with finding joy as a tattoo artist, I felt like there was more to me and more to my art. Sometimes the pressure of building a consistency in career and keeping a clientele does not always do the artist so well. Sometimes you lose focus on yourself. This picture was taken for a photo shoot with a brand that I had designed years ago. That brand was built off of my alcoholism, and I remember the day of this photo shoot. I was not happy, I was actually intoxicated, angry and very unhappy. However, when I started this self portrait, I wanted to study the old version of me to help me find the new version of me. With this, the Lord allowed me to see how intentional he is with every detail of my story. How he can make all things good and for his glory. And so I honor this picture because even though it was taken in a difficult season of life, I was able to look back and draw myself from the eyes that I have now. I see value in this girl. This self portrait taught me the eyes i was designed with, the salvation I have been gifted and the new creation I am. This assignment turned into an entire new path for me. The start of a gallery.
